DeSales Hall of Fame Dinner Tickets Available
Planning is underway for the 2021 DeSales Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame Dinner. The community is invited to join in honoring the notable individuals being inducted on Thursday, October 14th at the Lockport Town & Country Club in Lockport, NY.
The 2021 inductees are:
David M. Nemi, Class of 1975
Daniel W. Judge, Class of 1960
Anne E. McCaffrey, Class of 1985
Michael Ennis, Class of 1973
Nunzio T. Maiorana, Class of 1958
Tickets for the Hall of Fame dinner are available for a donation of $50 per person and can be reserved by calling the school at (716) 433-6422 ext 407. Sponsorship opportunities to support the Hall of Fame are also available. The event will begin at 6:00pm with a cash bar, followed by dinner at 7:00pm. On Friday, October 15th, the inductees and their families will join the students and faculty in the gymnasium at DeSales Catholic School for Mass given by Bishop Michael Fisher. The names of this year's honorees are being added to the Hall of Fame plaque on display at DeSales, which will be unveiled at 9:15am, just prior to the Mass. Chairmen of the 2021 Alumni Hall of Fame are Mark Jaekle and Mike Mullane.
The Hall of Fame dinner will help to fund tuition assistance grants at DeSales Catholic School, providing an opportunity for current and future students to enjoy the benefits of a quality Catholic education. As one of the largest Regional Elementary Schools in the Diocese of Buffalo, DeSales is dedicated to offering Preschool through - eighth grade students of all faiths the opportunity for a quality Catholic education. Through the generosity of alumni, parents, and friends in the community, DeSales is able to award thousands of dollars in tuition assistance grants to dozens of local families each year. Requests for tuition assistance have increased in recent years, and events such as the Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame Induction Dinner will provide additional financial support for students in need.
