DeSales National Geographic Bee Winner

 

DeSales Catholic School held a National Geographic Bee on January 13, 2016. The contest is designed to inspire students to be curious about the world. Eight contestants represented grades 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades. 7th grade student, Ben Upshaw took first place in the competition. Ben answered a difficult question about the location of the Missouri National Recreational River Water Trail to take home the championship title. 8th grader, Joe Bohlman was runner up in the competition. Middle School Social Studies Teacher, Mrs. Lori Asher was the moderator for the challenge.
