DeSales Hall of Fame Dinner Tickets Available
Planning is underway for the 2018 DeSales Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame Dinner. The community is invited to join in honoring the notable individuals being inducted on Thursday, October 4th at the Lockport Town & Country Club in Lockport, NY.
The 2018 inductees are:
James P. Langton, Class of 1954
Michael E. McCarthy, Class of 1969
Donald P. Murphy, Class of 1950
Matthew J. Murphy III, Class of 1970
Karen Judge Rahill, Class of 1987
Tickets for the Hall of Fame dinner are still available for a donation of $50 per person, or $95 per couple, and can be reserved by calling the school at (716) 433-6422 ext 407. The event will begin at 6:00pm with a cash bar, followed by dinner at 7:00pm. On Friday, October 5th, the inductees and their families will join the students and faculty at DeSales Catholic School for Mass in the DeSales’ Gym. The names of this year's honorees are being added to the Hall of Fame plaque on display at DeSales, which will be unveiled at 9:15am, just prior to the Mass. Chairmen of the 2018 Alumni Hall of Fame are Mark Jaekle and Mike Mullane.
The Hall of Fame dinner will help to fund tuition assistance grants at DeSales Catholic School, providing an opportunity for current and future students to enjoy the benefits of a quality Catholic education. As one of the largest Regional Elementary Schools in the Diocese of Buffalo, DeSales is dedicated to offering Preschool through - eighth grade students of all faiths the opportunity for a quality Catholic education. Through the generosity of alumni, parents, and friends in the community, DeSales is able to award thousands of dollars in tuition assistance grants to dozens of local families each year. Requests for tuition assistance have increased in recent years, and events such as the Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame Induction Dinner will provide additional financial support for students in need.
