Classroom Spotlight- Mrs. Norris' 5th Grade

If you visit Mrs. Norris’ 5th grade classroom you may notice a poster with colorful sticky notes near the door.  Students describe this as their  “What Stuck with you Today?” wall. At the end of each day, students write something they learned that day or answer a  question Mrs. Norris has asked.  Once they have their thoughts or answer down, they stick it on the board near the door.  This practice helps Mrs. Norris see what they learned and retained from the day. Studies have shown that more students retain information when they are given the chance to pause and  reflect on the lesson.  This board is a fun and efficient way to do just that!
